Welcome to the Milngavie & Bearsden Historical Society.

The Society is open to all and normally meets once a month during the winter season for a programme of lectures. From October our meetings are moving back to the Bearsden Hub (smaller hall) at Bearsden Cross and NOT at St Andrews Church. Map here.

Our December lecture will be King James VI up to 1603 and will be on the 7th in the Bearsden Hub. It will be given by Steven Reid and he will explain who King James VI was and why he was so important.
